Monday, October 20: Write a story about the best moment or event during your 3 day weekend.

The best moment of my weekend was at 7:00 AM on Saturday morning, when the sun streaming through my window woke me up and I realized it was the weekend and I could go back to sleep. I don't usually mind waking up early on weekdays for work. I've been getting up early as long as I can remember, and sleeping in on a Wednesday just doesn't feel quite right to me. But we've been in school for a quarter now and us teachers have had just one extra day off, Labor Day, and I'm so tired sometimes when I wake up in the morning it feels like I need pliers to pry my eyes open. So at 7:00 AM on Saturday, I was positively ecstatic that I could roll over under the covers, wrap myself back up in my sheets, and go back to sleep. I dozed for two more hours, before waking up around 9:20, quickly brewing some coffee, and walking to the gym for Body Pump. I can't imagine a better way to start a Saturday than sleeping in, coffee, and exercise.

  1. On my 3 day weekend I went to a party. It was for Jelette Low. The cake was good. It was a vanilla and chocolate cake. It had 2 layers. The main colors are white and green. Her name was in white. I had a chocolate peace of cake. It was on Friday. It was at Skate Country. I was at the skating ring. I had so much fun. All of the girl scouts were there. What did you write for home work Ms. Radding?

  2. On my 3 weekend I played CP (Club Penguin). I had so much fun. I played bean counters to get alot of coins. I use them to get furniture for my igloos and puffles. I like the green puffle. What's your favorite Thing in CP?

  3. My best event during my 3 day weekend was at the skating rink on the West Bank. The event was with the Brownies. Hollister was there. She was there because she is now our new Brownie friend. The party at the skating rink was for Juliette Lowe, the founder of the Girl Scouts. Her birthday is on October 31st. When we walked in we put on name tags. We had a race to see which team can put up the Girl Scout Promise first. We were able to go skating. We had partners. My partner was Bailey. Bailey and I won! We had to tell each other’s nick names. We both got the correct answers. We won headbands. We ate cake and had goodie bags. It was fun!!!
